NASCUS is the only organization dedicated to the defense and promotion of the state credit union charter and the autonomy of state credit union regulatory agencies.
NISCUE is supported by the generous donations of NASCUS Credit Union Advisory Council members, who make valuable educational opportunities available to state credit union examiners nationwide.

The NASCUS mission is to enhance state credit union supervision and advocate for a safe and sound credit union system. Our membership is comprised of the CEOs of the most progressive and innovative state-chartered credit unions in the nation. States pay nominal registration fees for NISCUE-sponsored schools to cover direct costs of attending such as lodging and meals. NISCUE funds cover the costs of speaking fees, training materials and other related expenses of planning and conducting quality training. in economics and Asian studies from the University of California-Berkeley and an M.A. in linguistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also developed and executed programs and strategies to communicate the CUNA-state association/League value proposition among credit unions, working with state league leaders and credit union leaders across the nation. Before her career at CUNA, Erb was assistant director of membership, marketing and meetings for the National Cooperative Business Association (NCBA), also of Washington. She holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Maryland (College Park); she has completed professional development coursework at George Washington University, Washington D.C. Ms. Gentilini has overseen the successful integration of NASCUS’ credit union agency accreditation program with the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) bank agency accreditation to provide combined agencies the option of simultaneous on-site reviews. Tammy has an extensive experience in professional development, human resource management, membership development, and strategic planning. in Business from Averett University and is pursuing her Masters with Averett University. With an extensive background in both legislative and regulatory analyses and a comprehensive knowledge of the state and federal credit union regulatory system, Mr. Knight often represents NASCUS speaking at seminars, trade association meetings and conferences. Mr. Knight has testified before numerous state legislatures on behalf of state regulatory agencies and participated in industry strategic planning sessions. Mr. Knight earned his law degree from the College of William and Mary school of law. Prior to joining NASCUS, he spent 11 years at the Federal Trade Commission, where he served as a management and program analyst in the Office of Administrative Services. in business administration from La Salle University and an M.B.A. from the American University. She has worked in various banking divisions including bankcard collections, retail banking and corporate compliance. During her time with CUNA, Nichole served as advisory counsel to CUNA members on several banking regulations; acted as liaison to industry regulators on matters of crucial importance to the membership; monitored regulatory developments, drafted regulatory analyses for association membership; supported the professional development division in the formulation and implementation of industry training programs, etc. Prior to CUNA, Nichole was employed as a corporate compliance officer/avp for Bank of America Private Bank where she was responsible for ensuring compliance with Bank of America’s internal compliance requirements for three offices in the DC metro area. While at Bank of America, Nichole audited her assigned offices for compliance with company policies and procedures; trained office staff to address deficiencies and worked closely with senior leadership to ensure compliance standards were met. She is also responsible for NASCUS member relations and oversees membership activities. Woo is also the staff liaison to NASCUS' Audit and Education Committees. degree in information systems from Virginia Commonwealth University.
